Well,I don’t know how you are going to react to this question!

But in my view,yes! you should. BUT-WHY?

Many of us are frightened of looking silly or being embarrassed by failure and as a result,we don’t take the risk and seize an opportunity. We often think failure is bad.Trust me,it is not. It is good. No,it’s superb!

There can be no success without failure.It is just the part of the whole process. The companies and people who have reached the heights of success are the same ones that have failed the most often. LIST IS ENDLESS OF SUCH PEOPLE.

You need to fail to win. And the faster you fail, the more quickly you will learn precisely what you need to do to win.

So Fail Fast.Out-fail the competition. Out-fail the the person you once were. I will remind you quote from Robert F. Kennedy: “Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly”

I will never forget this line which stucked my eyes on the board outside a Church. Jesus!

Too many people talk the good talk these days.You will find execellent lip service.Tons of empty promises. And hype. And lofty statements that never amount to anything.I feel disappointed. I feel sad about such WEAK PEOPLE.

True leaders are different. They talk less and do more.I love the quiet leaders. Those silent souls who underpromise and over-deliver. Ant when they do speak,they speak Truth. A person’s word is their bond. And every promise kept builds credibility,the foundation of trust. So make the committment to be impeecable with your word.

One of the things that seperates leaders from followers is that those who lead speak openly,honestly and couraageously. Even when the very thought of doing so frightens them.

In order to do this you need to have the audacity to be honest about what you really want to do,not what you should do, believe it is available to you regardless of any evidence otherwise, and go for it.

The old you, the one who has not yet decided to kick ass, is in the past.Stay present and do not,even for a second, look backward or entertain any idea of straying from your decisions. Think only of the new you.

This reminds me what Clint Eastwood said in a recent issue of Best Life: ” Sometimes if you want to see a change for the better you have to take things into your own hands”. Exactly.

Sure,work with your team. Yes,collaborate. of course delegate to others who have strengths where you don’t. But sometimes, when everyone is waiting for someone else to take the first step, you need to be the one to drive the change.

To me, that’s courage in action. To me, that’s using your life well. To me,that’s leadership-and standing for being extraordinary.
