We can never be a failure just because we failed once, twice, thrice and so on. However we are certainly failure if we just give up on our dreams simply because we have faced a failure. Let us have an insight into the history of successful people who reached the heights of glory; all of them had to struggle a lot to overcome unbelievable hurdles to eventually become successful.
1- Abraham Lincon:
The 16th President of United States, Abraham Lincon, did not have it too easy. His first romantic interest, Ann Rutledge, died at the age of 22. His first business venture did not take off. He married Mary Todd in 1842. The couple had four sons; three of them died before attaining adulthood. Today, he is often ranked as the best US President of all times. The simple reason: He did not let any of his failures/ misfortunes stand in the way of his work.
What he thought about failure is: ” My great concern is not whether you have failed but whether you are content with your failure.”
2- Albert Einstein:
The German-born theoretical physicist and Nobel Prize winner Albert Einstein did not have it easy either. He faced many challenges in his life. His theories and writings were opposed by many anti-semitic Germans and Europeons. He lost his professorship in Nazi Germany. This could have meant end of the road for some, but not for Einstein. He blew those assumptions away and became not just a great scienctist, but one of the greatest scientist to have ever lived.
His thoughts on failure: ” you never fail until you stop trying.”
3- Amitabh Bachchan:
Amitabh Bachchan is now known as one of the greatest cine stars of Bollywood. He was at the peak of his career when he starte his company ABCL. This venture badly failed and Bacnchan was reduced to bankruptcy. However, this brave man refused to give up. He reinvented himself as the host of KBC, and since then he has never looked back.
We most of us have a tendency to see, wish, and want a life that is easy, something as easy as a walk in the park. but the reality is indeed bitter truth and the truth is that no one can be exempted from tasting failure in their life if one wants to achieve one’s goal. Someone who has even accomplished anything worthwhile has never done so without undergoing hardship and facing failures.
THINK ABOUT IT!!
