Yes,Personal and Professional greatness and sustained happiness does not just happen of its own. These elements of your best life are created with sacrifices, dedication, discipline and self control.

All too often we look at a human being playing their best game on the playing field of life and assume they got lucky or were born into their lofty condition.

What we fail to see is all the devotion and discipline that went into crafting the extraordinary results we see.

What i am suggesting is that personal and professional greatness takes work. I am not someone who would ever tell you that you could get to your dream without having to make some sacrifices and pay the price in terms of dedication, patience and self control.

The best way to create spectacular results in the most important areas of your life is through daily practice. Practices that will lock you into your best state include a morning journaling session where you record your feelings, thoughts and blessings you are grateful for.

I do these exercises everyday for 10 minutes and do meditation for 15 minute. It does not only energizes me but also just makes my mind and life calm and under control. I also use success statements or affirmations to get my mind focused.

Success and joy and inner peace and strength don’t just show up. You need to create them.” Huge achievement is less about your Genetics and more about your rituals.”

So,find your series of practices, perform them with consistency. And then you are ready to go out into this beautiful world of of ours and shine for ever.

  1. It’s the process. Most people want the results, but don’t want to deal with the process. Ultimately, the process, the grind, is the success because we don’t get to life’s victories without it. Thanks, Ravi. Strong words.

  2. You said it right, we end up assuming the best player as a lucky guy or someone who is by birth successful. It so happens as we, the human race tends to get attracted to the grace of an achiever, rather than to the hard work that has led him/her to be successful.

  3. Humm! Dear Vageesha,Its not only desipline but there is no short cut in any proceess. And you must be willing to pay the price for what you want to achieve.I am happy to see that you don’t hv superfluous reading and try to grasp things in detail and thats a very good quaility.I wish you best in all walk of your life.
    Keep smiling and shining.
